Westport Community Schools

Thanks to a generous grant from the Westport Cultural Council, citygreen ran Sun & Shade events with 5th grade students at the Westport Community School in the spring and fall of 2025.  We planted sun-loving peony at the middle school and high school courtyards as well as shade-tolerant hosta near one of the entrances to the school.  We included allium which can thrive with a mix of sun and shade.  The challenge going forward is maintaining the plants
