Thanks to a generous grant from the Westport Cultural Council, citygreen ran two Sun & Shade events with 5th grades students at the Westport Community School. We planted sun-loving peony at the middle school and high school courtyards as well as shade-tolerant hosta near one of the entrances to the school. We included allium which can thrive with a mix of sun and shade.
